Where does the Tour Start?

Iles Tours deliver tours throughout the North East of England because of this there is not a single starting point for our tours.  We have compiled a list of starting points below.

Newcastle One hour Tours:  Old Newcastle (Newcastle Castle’s Black Gate) Newcastle Quayside (The Redhouse Pub) Northumberland Street (Haymarket Metro Station)

Newcastle Two hour Tours:  Earl Grey’s Monument

Durham Tours:  Durham Train Sation

Full Day Tours:  Following your booking, we will contact you and your group to organise transport from your accommodation to the tour location.

What is the easiest way to get to your tour?

To get into the North East firstly we suggest Newcastle Airport or the Ferries of the Port of Tyne. Please find details of train stations below.

Newcastle: Newcastle Central Station, Tyne and Wear Metro

Durham: Durham Central Station

Are The tours suitable for people who are ‘x’ years old?

We have made every effort to design our tours so that they can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. The terrain of the North East of England can be steep and each one of our tours differs in layout and topography. Some of the paths may be uneven and some of our tours may be unsuitable for those who are recovering from injuries or do not feel comfortable on long distance walks – this includes older and younger customers.  If you have any other questions please do contact us.

Do you provide gift vouchers?

We provide a range of gift vouchers that can be purchased by contacting us. We can provide these as physical gift vouchers or as a digital voucher.

Do you provide tours in ‘x’ language

Though our primary guide speaks English as his first language we do have access to translation and linguists  – please contact us prior to booking to discuss details.
