Newcastle’s Quayside and the River Tyne are inseparable when telling the story of the city. This tour will take you along the historic Quayside and enable you to see the famous bridges – the Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge and the Millennium Bridge. The tour will tell you the stories of those who lived and worked on the river Tyne. This tour is a great way to learn the history of the city and explaining the stories of the people and the locations along the way. This includes the Bridges that make Newcastle so iconic. This is a great introduction to the city and how it has changed over the years.
The Tour beings at The Redhouse on the Quayside. We will walk along to the High Level Bridge and then back along the Quayside to the Millennium Bridge where the tour will end completing the tour.
The start of the tour will be from The Redhouse which can be found on the Sandhill, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The end of the tour will be at the Millennium Bridge, Newcastle Quayside.

For the tour, Iles Tours always suggest that you dress warmly with waterproofs as the weather is always changeable. Bring a camera to capture moments on the tour.
